Well, this was a great way to start 29 dates! Most of the guys set up for dates are going to be first dates, though Josh and I have been on a couple of dates before in the past. Josh is one of my favorite people and just an all around great man.
We had to be a little flexible because our original date idea fell through. As a back-up date he borrowed some markers from my roommate that ended up sitting on the table the whole time. Instead we talked and the time just flew by. We talked about classes and about work about dating and relationships about Las Vegas and our service missions. It was a very relaxed and pleasant conversation. We had some good laughs while making up some ridiculous therapy scenarios. He made us both some EXCELLENT fruit smoothies, I told him if his career doesn’t work out he could have a future in smoothies 😉
Some great things to know about Josh. He is very easy to talk to and a great listener. He shows genuine interest in the conversation and in what’s going on in my life. He radiates love and concern for the people around him. He is very passionate about helping people and about his career, he is currently pursing a masters degree and his program goes throughout the summer so he will, sadly, not be available for the date to Rome. Sad face.
I couldn’t have planned a better start to the 29 dates! All the pressure often associated with a date was gone. Thanks for being so flexible and fun, Josh!
Available for the date to Rome: No

I pick Josh! Hands down best single bachelor in town. He should work that magic and find a way to go on the trip, very well deserving.
I love Josh! We worked together at the MTC with the senior couples. I just went through your blog backwards Jecia, and loved reading about all of your adventures! Rome sounded amazing!
